Smaller mountain streams
Ammerbach (fly only)
This small mountain stream is approx. 4-6 m wide and rises in the Hohe Tauern below the Ammertaler Höhe and flows from there parallel to the Felbertauernstraße all the way to the Elisabethsee. Small and medium-sized pools and easily accessible.
Mühlbach (fly only)
Quiet and charming, the small mountain stream meanders from the west of the Wildkogel out of the valley to the Salzach. This body of water is particularly easy to walk through and is characterized by rather small and medium-sized pools.
Upper Salzach (mixed waters)
This small mountain stream impresses with its small to medium-sized pools and is rather difficult to walk as it often flows through gorges.
Trattenbach (bow tie only)
This small mountain stream rises at altitudes of over 2100 m in the area of the Trattenbach-Hochalm, from numerous small spring channels and flows into a small reservoir that is very popular with our fly fishermen. With its small to medium-sized pools, it is very easy to walk through. Very difficult to enter under the storage area – and no longer easy to fish.
Untersulzbach (mixed water)
Small mountain stream with small to medium-sized pools – relatively easy to walk on.
