The Advent market: tradition and coziness
The Advent market in Mittersill promises an atmospheric break every weekend until Christmas. Open on Fridays and Saturdays until 8 p.m. and Sundays until 7 p.m., it attracts visitors with lovingly made gifts, handicrafts and regional delicacies. The aroma of mulled wine, freshly roasted chestnuts and hearty Pinzgau specialties fills the air and invites you to linger. Choirs and wind ensembles provide the musical backdrop, creating a festive atmosphere with traditional Advent songs.

A highlight of the market is the “Living Craft Workshop” in the town hall. Here, the art of traditional craftsmanship comes to life and visitors can experience the creation of lovingly crafted pieces at close quarters.
