The Zwölferkogel in Mittersill is currently still covered by a fine dome of snow, but one of our local mountains will soon give way to alpine operations. From Felben to the mountain

The starting point of the hike to the Zwölferkogel is in the Felben district. You can park directly at the Felberturm Museum before you embark on this full-day tour (13.3 km long, 1,644 m ascent, approx. Eight hours of walking). The hiking trail 82A runs to the Ehrenfeuchten Alm, then the no. 530 leads via Brauäste and Kastner Hütte to the Bräuhochalm. In the meantime, the hiking excursion is turning more and more into a demanding but very worthwhile mountain tour. The final stage via Birkkogel to the Zwölferkogel is tough, but you can enjoy fantastic views from the summit region. The return route is the same.
