How to become a fly fisherman!
If you too want to become a fly fishing expert, then you’ve come to the right place! As a fishing hotel in Austria with Austria’s largest connected private area, we are experts in all forms of fishing. Our offer includes fish guiding and course guiding of all kinds. According to the motto “learning by doing” we support beginners on their way to become fly fishing experts. From mid-May to October you will learn the art of this particularly exciting discipline as part of your fishing holiday in Austria. If you need a rental bike, this is included as part of the guiding (otherwise for a fee). If you are completely addicted to fly fishing, you are welcome to purchase your own equipment and bait in the in-house fisherman’s shop. Our guides will be happy to accompany you to the water on request and introduce you to various special disciplines, including still water and mountain stream fishing as well as belly boat fishing. From May to October there is the opportunity to take part in community fishing with our guides on Monday (Hintersee), Tuesday (Gebirgsbach) or Wednesday (Salzach). You can register for this in our fishing shop.
